Stop motion video!
In my photo 3,4 class we got into a groups and our assignment was to make a stop motion video as a group. The story we decided to do was about a girl who loved to draw and everything she touched turned into a sketch in her book. Then she became sad due to the problem she had with her hands, Soon she found a boy who had the same problem and they both ran off together holding hands. Everyone in the group had a job position , My job was to play the girl in the story, I had a pretty fun experience playing that character although i felt that could've of done more than to just play a character in the story such as to help out in other things that my needed help in. I felt that i could've done better playing that role and i felt that we also could've done better as group working on this assignment.

Rain of Gold

The book tells the story about two families initially caught up in the mexican revolution, Lupe Gomez a six year old girl at the beginning of the story grows up in a village called Lluvia de oro or Rain of Gold. It was a quiet village until a strand of gold was found and within twenty years the village changed drastically. Due to the americans taking over the gold and the mexican revolution Lupe and her family made their way to america where they faced some desperate hard times for a job. The girl in this pic is seen as lupe holding gold in her hands, The reason of the this picture is to see the discovery of the gold but the expression of a sad face due to them having to move away from their village because of the gold. The lighting in this picture is only hitting half of the girls face and at the same time making the gold eye catching.
this picture was shot inside and with a regular lamp, how i made this happen is i shot the photo half blocking the direction of the light. I think book cover was successful because it really captures the viewers attention and gives them a clue a what the book is going to be about.
